Seems like a perfect solution for good amount of shade We haven’t had this up too long yet, but are liking it. Seems like it will last well…only time will tell on that. It’s been through a couple of good rains. The rain goes through – as it is designed to do – so there isn’t pooling of water on the canopy like there would be on a tarp, which would cause terrible sagging and difficulty emptying off the water, plus stench. Perfect solution
Easy, inexpesive shade that looks great! During the evening our patio is well shaded but during the day it receives no shade and is unbearable to be on. We had thought about putting up a pergola but they are a lot of work to build and can be very expensive. This was the perfect alternative. I pounded in 3′ long 1-1/4′ galvanized steel pipe flush to the ground and then bought 10′ 1″ galvanized steel pipe to slide inside of it for two of the corners.
