Good for a Patio Table I love the fan design of this stand, and I like the lighter weight when it comes to handling. But, I think it would work best on a very level surface and better as an umbrella stand with a patio table (not freestanding). I parked mine on fairly level packed dirt in my veggie garden, filled it up with water as directed, and it blew over twice on the first gusty day.
