Shade where you want it, and they look great. Folks, these are really pretty awesome. Needing shade on the south facing back porch, I bought 2 of these patio umbrellas and 2 umbrella base planters ( “Abba Patio 30lbs Stainless Steel Sand Filled Square Umbrella Base/Planter with Two Wheels” ) exactly 2 years ago from Amazon.The fabric ( beige ) shows little to no signs of wear and has remained bright in color. It casts a lot of shade and looks good. Put it in the garage for the winter … Used this umbrella for a few weeks at the end of last summer (2015) without incident. It casts a lot of shade and looks good. Put it in the garage for the winter and set up back up yesterday. Was enjoying lunch on the deck with my children when a gust of wind (not even that strong) tipped the umbrella. The weight of it pulled it further, and then the pole gave way, bent 90 degrees (as you can see in the photo), and slammed into the deck, narrowly missing my kids. I really hate writing negative…
