I needed to make an odd sized sun shade to block the west facing side of my house. I used this shade cloth and some plastic grommets that clip through the fabric. Everything went fine and the shade cloth keeps the sun off of that side of the house and is noticeably cooler. One tip when using the plastic clip-on grommets: poke the fabric through using your fingers or a screwdriver blade before closing the grommet.
