Perfect AFFORDABLE lights for AFFORDABLE umbrellas!!!! Love love LOVE these lights. Despite the reviews on here which would lead you to believe otherwise…it took less than 15 minutes for me to install these lights on our umbrella.It is important to note that these lights are PRICED to match an umbrella of similar value!!! We have a Better Homes and Gardens umbrella from WalMart which cost $28.00 it’s a 9 foot umbrella with the crank wheel to open and close it. Great umbrella…but definitely on the cheap side of the range of umbrellas out…
Wasn’t a perfect match but with a few modifications I got it done. This lite set is advertised as an offset umbrella set but it does not work as intended for all offset or cantilever umbrellas. It is designed for umbrellas that have a pole that is on the outside of the umbrella canopy. This could be easily remedied by the manufacturer by offering an extension cord from the Solar Panel to the lights so it could be mounted farther away from the lite stings.
