Easy one day project Easy one day project. You’ll need at least one other person. Three is ideal but you can use a ladder instead to hold things up instead. We installed this on our unlevel paver patio (intentional for water run off) and it is very sturdy. Instead of anchoring to our patio we got some square wall blocks for a couple dollars each. You’ll need a hammer drill and impact driver though, for the masonry install. The impact driver helps a lot with the rest of the screws versus using a normal drill…
Buyer Beware !! Very over priced for very soft wood. The wood is called Chinese Cedar, and is NOT like our red cedar here in the USA. A very light coat of red cedar stain is sprayed on it to make it look like American Red Cedar. The 4 main posts are hollow and NOT solid wood as they appear in the picture. After a few months there are cracks in the boards used to make the posts. Holes are too tight for the bolts and some holes don’t line up. Drill all the holes out before trying to put it together…
