Not a heater First let me say that this heater is engineered and built beautifully. But if you’re looking for a patio HEATER pass this by. The instructions literally say “reduced efficiency below 40 degrees” ! Umm excuse me but isn’t a HEATER supposed to HEAT at all temperatures? I put it together when it was right at about 40 degrees on our deck and you have to almost hug it to get any warmth. This is a great patio heater This is a great patio heater. It takes a little while for the glass cylinder to heat up and radiate heat, but works as expected. Give yourself some time to assemble it, if you’re not paying for installation. It’s fairly easy to put together, but the plastic sheeting that protects the stainless steel panels is pretty difficult to get off; it doesn’t just peel off and it’s takes some time to get it all of the panels.
