very solid and beautiful. There were absolutely no defects or shipping damage … I just got finished putting the furniture together. Took about 3 hours but it wasn’t complicated … just a little time consuming doing it by myself. The instructions say you need 2 people to put it together, which would be very helpful, but I was able to do it alone.
