I am now a happy owner of a new set and I love this … I had this set for two years and then lost it in a divorce. Ha- small price to pay, but when I moved to my new home this was the only set I wanted. I am now a happy owner of a new set and I love this one just as much. Super sturdy. My first one sat outside through Illinois winters and was never the worse for wear. It’s a heavy weight set — again, great for fly-over states like Illinois where the winds can sometimes get crazy. The cushions are great- if they get left out in the rain…
So far so good My wife wanted a table and chairs on our deck even though we never use one and, indeed, she seldom goes outside since it is not air conditioned. I bought this one because it was cheap and looked inoffensive, and I was not disappointed. You can sit in the chairs and even recline a bit, and it is not terribly ugly. It goes nicely on our wooden deck with a forest green umbrella inserted through the middle and supported by its own cast iron stand. The table is nothing I would choose for itself, but…
