Base Stem not heavy duty Stand base seems fine. No indication of umbrella size or weight limits. Have 6.6 x 9.8, 17 lbs Abba umbrella. First time there was a slight breeze umbrella was blown over and screw plate attachment in stem bent. Description should include umbrella weight and size limitations and beef-up stem screw attachment plate. Will attempt to get a new stem. Good, not great So far, so good. It’s certainly good-looking. Here are my quibbles: This base is for umbrella #2. My first base, which I can’t find any more, has a much taller shaft (18″, with two screw knobs instead of one) which holds the umbrella much more securely than base #2 does. Also, base #1’s attachment to its shaft has no wobble; base #2’s has some play. The two features add up to the umbrella being able to rock a little in the wind, increasing its swing with each rock.
