Surprised Bought this one for my patio. The winds here in Vegas can be fierce at times. It may have blown over a few times,but never damaged. The REAL test was one day the wind kicked up from no where…the umbrella was “securely” anchored in a 25lb metal stand. When I went outside…the wind had lifted the umbrella with stand and placed it 8 feet from where I had it.The ribs held up and no signs of damage to the umbrella. Though now…I remove it and place it out of harms way.6/13/15…

Love the color I purchased one of these umbrellas in the pacific blue a few years ago and have been extremely pleased with it so I decided to buy another to match for a settee I purchased here on Amazon. Color is a perfect match however the style is slightly different. The first one is exactly as pictured but on the second one the ribs stop about 6 inches from the edge so the sides hang down straight making it a bit smaller,as you can see from the 2 photos.
