Reality Check! This is an excellent SACRIFICIAL cover for expensive deck furniture! OK, I have read the few negative reviews here that complain that this item deteriorates after a year or two of use. So what! My extra-large $42 cover is protecting a $3500+ set of patio furniture from the sun’s ultraviolet rays and acid rain. Considering that this cover costs about 1% of the cost of the patio furniture, I’ll be thrilled if I get a year or two of use out of it. Then I’ll order another one from Amazon. Good product I was worried that it would blow off in the high winds we often get. I wrapped the strap around the table and chairs, pulled the elastic until it was good and tight (do note that there’s a bit of a trick to this. As you pull on the elastic, the canvas will bunch around around it. Hold the elastic taught, and smooth out the canvas. This will let you tighten the elastic more), and it hasn’t budged since.
