Feeling is Believing in Durability I was surprised with the quality, strength and craftsmenship that went into this cover. It had that heavier feel right from the box and when I put it on the firepit, it actually stayed in place and I could tug on it to position it and secure it and I didn’t have to worry about the corners or end ripping out. Good, durable cover for your fire table. This is an excellent, well made cover. The elastic bungee draw string around the base works very well. The cover beads and sheds water off well in the rain. I also like the air vent that allows the inside area to breathe, which would inhibit mold or mildew growth in humid environments. I don’t need to worry about that too much in Phoenix, but the vent also works well by allowing air pressure to vent, keeping the wind from billowing the cover and trying to blow it off.
