collapsed after one season – Safety Issue UPDATE: 6/17/14;: Original review was April 2013: We used these chairs last summer and then this spring. Bought a table to go with them. While sitting in the chair today, it just collapsed to the rear. The rails gave way and it went all the way to the ground. I am retired and weigh 240 pounds and was quietly sitting there, enjoying a spring day and poof. I wasn’t leaning back on the rails, I just sitting. Comfortable, retro chairs. Easy to assemble. These are great looking and very comfortable retro chairs. They look fabulous in front of our little 1932 mill house. We bought 2 red chairs and the white table made by Crosley to match. Assembly was simple and took about 10-15 min. per chair. We added a couple of cushions for the seats, but the chairs are perfectly comfortable even without the cushions.
