good product, does what it claims We purchased these for our back patio which faces east (in Arizona no less!). we have a great view but in the early morning the sun made it a bit unpleasant to side outside and have breakfast. these blinds are not privacy blinds, nor did we want privacy. we wanted something to block or shade some of the sun and they do a great job. we purchased the 96″x72″ model. they were very easy to install. they come with some elastic “tie downs” in case you want/need to prevent the blinds…
Major problems on Day two Two days after installation, the screen became detached from the base bar that holds the screen vertically in place. It was stapled inside the bar. It was not sturdy enough even for a light breeze. We used duct tape to refasten the screen to the bar. This is not the look we wanted. We will have to engineer another alternative. I was surprised that the edges were not finished. One of the tie down brackets arrived broken. We decided the plastic was not sturdy enough and replaced with metal…
