So far so good – thick material, waterproof, and big! This cover is really big. Can’t vouch for the longevity/durability of the material since i’ve only had it a month. Time will tell how it holds up over the dry and harsh winters but so far so good. It gets direct sun all day long and so far hasn’t broken down. The ties built into the covers are very nifty to tie this down, but I still put weighted objects on top of this because on really windy days, it picks it up like an umbrella and i just don’t want any risk of things moving or being…
It looks like the fabric can actually tear pretty easily When water gets on the cover it pulls around the edges of the table/ chairs and stretches out the fabric. You really have to be careful to make sure you get off excess water, snow and ice when and if it accumulates on the cover. I use this to cover some exercise equipment on my patio and it works very well. There’s a balance between the fact that the fabric breathes and is still water repellent that means that if it rains, I can easily tip the cover to let the water pour off where it’s collected, but I also know that what’s underneath isn’t going to be damp and smell of mildew.
