This is really a great fire pit, especially for the price. I have had firepits before. Yes, we all had the huge octagonal one from costco. This one is not as large (it’s a bit over 30, but that is still a great size to gather and sit drinks or small plates on) but it is nice, solid, and looks great. It came with instructions and I set it up all by myself. One tip though, they tell you to attach the legs but don’t tell you two are different. As the Slate top is UPSIDE DOWN on a soft carpet spin it so the lighting switch is facing you. On the corner…
So much for such a reasonable price!! Read everyone’s reviews and tips so assembly and initial ignition were easy. Tip to depress the ignition button for 30 or so seconds before igniting was especially helpful and did not cause panic! Added fire glass and just love the look and ambiance without the fuss!! So many compliments already as we sit out by the pool and pond. And now looking forward to s’mores with the little ones! Will be putting on wheels as one reviewer did to help move it wherever the party is in our backyard…
