Block nosy neighbors As you can see in the photo, we wrapped wire around the trim and hastily looped the attached ribbon through the wire as our nosy neighbor sat on her back porch supervising. Our patio cover is metal with no way to install rollers, this was the only shade we could find that had ties. Obviously, we did a rush job, and probably should go back and find a neater way to hang them, but the added privacy is wonderful. She still sits outside in the dark and can hear our occasional arguments, but atleast…
Would I order it again? My first order of one of these, was a bit disappointing. When unpackaged, it rolled in on the sides. Undesirable, but tolerable. After letting it hang for a while, the weighted bottom rod cut it’s way out of the sewn up bottom lip, and then while cooking on the grill one weekend, the wind blew it up against the hot lid and melted a whole in it.
