You get what you pay for. I understand that this is a “cheap” fire pit. It’s not that big and it’s not terribly solid. I get that. What’s ridiculous about this thing is that in addition to being flimsy and small and cheap, the thing can’t even hold up to fire. FIRE. Pros: I loved that this fire pit folds, making it compact for travel. It’s a perfect size for RV camping and would work great in boondocking situations where fire rings aren’t available. The carry bag is well constructed and protects my RV from the sooty fire pit in between camping trips. Just delivered, haven’t used it yet. It’s cheap and flimsy, the small grate for the bottom fits and has a purpose. The top grate is too big and just lays across the top of the pit. The cover is smaller than the top grate but won’t fit the grill either. Its very odd. But I bought it for one winter camping in the Sanoran desert for a maximum of six months at which time I’ll crumple it up like beer can and throw it away and that was the plan from the beginning.
