Sturdy cover, but doesn’t keep out small animals This is a nice cover, sturdy and well-constructed. It provides great shade, and seems a lot better constructed than the flimsy tarp cover that comes with the beach ball. We had problems with water pooling and seeping through with that cover whenever it rained. It finally gave up the ghost, and we bought this one instead.It’s a big pain to raise and lower the canopy, as it has three rise levels, so it takes a long time to get the sandbox open.
