This may not be for the ocassional DIY. The heater was well packaged and seems to be working fine, but the assembly and install was one of the more interesting projects that I have done in a while. Good buy for the price There are many reviews out there that discuss the issue of stability when not screwed to the floor. I solved this by filling the base with 1 bag of ready mix concrete. I replaced the 4 bolts that hold the post to the base with longer bolts. At the end of the bolts I put a large fender washer with 2 extra nuts to hold it in place at the end of the bolts. The assembly is a little tricky, especially for one person. Some mechanical ability is useful. The igniter is a twist type not push button but works OK.
