be very weary of rust resistant claim Had this set for three months and noticed rust everywhere. Amazon was fabulous and allowed me to return the set with a full refund. The claim of a rust resistant coating is probably true, but the coating is poorly applied and easily peeled off. Spend the extra $$ and get a cast aluminum or extruded aluminum set and save yourself the hassle. If you like to replace your patio set every season, this is a good choice. Overall decent looking set, but not suited for the elements in my opinion…
Junk, don’t waste your money. Delivered May, 2015 to our vacation property in Florida. The igniter never worked. We returned in September to rust everywhere on the chairs. Junk. I hope to hear from someone re: a refund because $1600 furniture should last longer than 4 months. Update – Amazon has been very helpful, items were picked up. We received a refund minus 30% “restocking fee”. The seller contacted me re: the 30 day limit on returns – I provided full details by email stating that we have neighbors come check…
Something is wrong here Before I rate the set, let me say that Amazon was EXCELLENT with their customer service (returned first setoffering refundwillingness to satisfy etc.), but the set(s) themselves have been simply horrible. The first set rusted very noticeably in the first two weeks, all four chairs, especially around where the “rings” are welded in the chairs. Odd considering it never rained in those two week (*as typical in Southern California!) so moisture was limited. Still the finished flaked off…
