GREAT Fan — wet rated for full outdoor exposure. This works perfectly — I think I need to use the balancing weights for the highest speed but that always seems to be an issue. Great deal, great product I purchased 2 of these for less than $100 a piece for installation on our large newly constructed paver patio and roof. Easy install, great workmanship, and powerfully effective air circulation. I live in Houston, where SOME kind of cooling or air movement is necessary for survival. I think the fan works great. I ordered a light kit at the same time that was supposed to go with the fan. It was a marine II light kit I believe. To make the light kit work, I had to drill a new hole for the fan pull switch on the bottom of the fan. The light kit attaches where the pull chain is on the fan. It was not a hard fix but I would think they should know people want to attach a light kit and they could have positioned the fan switch differently to start. I put this in my pergola…
