Super bright, easy to install and good for damp locations… Pretty hard to go wrong. Puts out a ton of light for my 40×20 lean-to to park some cars in it. The gasket around the outside looks like it seals well and should help keep bugs and moisture out of the housing.As expected it has a little bit of a dark spot at the elevation of the light since there’s no side firing leds but for lighting a parking area this is a pretty small consequence. Also, be prepared to drill some holes…
I went with the 65w version and installed it in my attached garage as a supplement to my existing standard light bulbs over a workbench. This thing puts out a massive amount of light for 50 bucks. The main area of use is over a workbench so shadows aren’t of much concern, but if you were doing a whole garage with just one of these i think you might need a few more. I’m impressed with the finished product, so I’m not going to take a star for the ONLY con. That is you need to wire these things…
