The P1121 is an outdoor mechanical plug-in timer with built-in enclosure. The timer is specifically designed to control outdoor decorations and holiday lighting, but it can also be used to control the filter pump of an above ground pool. This 120-Volt timer has a manual override ON/OFF switch, a waterproof cover and a 12-Inch grounded cord.

Simple to set up. Good durability. I purchased this timer when I realized our pool pump was driving our electric bill up due to me being too lazy to remember to turn it off. It ended up running 24/7. This is an excellent, very cost-effective solution when a Malibu or Intermatic “Intermatic ML600TW Low Voltage 600-Watt Power Pack” has failed. This alternative solution was also preferable for me since the new models are a) more expensive and b) only offer the photo-sensor functionality.
