Fire it up! This seems to be a good fire pit considering the cost and it is easy to assemble. It is my first fire pit and my friends, family and I are really enjoying it. The setup instructions recommend putting sand in the bottom of the pit to insulate the area below the pit and to protect the pit against the corrosive nature of the ashes. While I fully agree with the use of the sand, the ash gets mixed into the sand making it nesassary to remove sand during the ash clean up. My way of improvising is to…
