The pergola extension kit is just what I needed. Because of the steps up to my patio door I needed about 18â of beam extension. My pergola is the New England arbors Fremont. The pieces were longer than what I needed. However, we trimmed off the original beams because the extension kit beams were slightly bigger. This adds a more dramatic effect of the columns.
