Size Matters In these reviews, I’ve seen a variety of answers to the question of “How high is the seat from the ground?” I now suspect the various answers are because the size varies according to the color of the chair you order. This blue one is 17″ from the ground, and I need at least 18″, so I will be returning and re-ordering the black one which may (or may not) be taller. More on this to follow. Best & last chair you’ll ever need to buy We bought 2 of these about 10 years ago for several reasons and the chairs have proven true to all of them.1- Sturdy. I’m a 300 pounder and these have held up great. I have no fear of collapse.2- Comfortable. I love the height, padded seat & arms, and how they’re easy to get out of. Before buying these, we borrowed sling chairs and had trouble sitting very long because your butt falls into them too deep and they squeeze your knees together.
