Very Nice Shades; Worthless Instructions I bough seven of these shades (two six-foot, one five-foot, one four-foot, and three three-foot shades) to cover the windows and door on my screened-in porch. The shades are really beautiful, and they block a lot of the afternoon sunshine, making the porch and the house a lot cooler. The shades also offer quite a bit of privacy. Too good to be true???? The quality of the blinds were ice enough, however, where you connect the roll string to the back is done is very cheap plastic that expands and it keeps popping every time you try to roll up your blind. That action causes it to completely unroll and then you have to get on a step later to fix the roll strings on both sides because when the one popped out of its gripper, the other popped too from the weight of the blind rolling down on the other side. Junk. Buy today, return tomorrow. Update. Junk. All fell apart within 3 days.Bought four of these to replace a similar product that was purchased about ten years ago; no way these will last 3. Not only is everything thinner and cheaper, but the strings that operate the shade are very light density cotton. I expect the strings to break or rot out in short order. Also, the hook-eyes, by which to hang them, are all spaced differently. Makes installation a real pain. I might have still given these 3 stars but the seller…
