Looks GREAT mounted onto wood-pressboard siding !! This is the perfect awning for our backyard deck! It hangs nicely above a cedar Amish glider (also bought that kit on Amazon). The instructions will say this needs to be mounted onto brick. However, we have mid-90s pressboard siding. The kit comes with some large lag bolts, which I don’t recommend just screwing into the pressboard siding. It was a simple fix, though. I picked up a piece of 2″x6″ x 8′ cedar.
