Shady, much more shady. I’m not thrilled with the color of this, but this is the standard green they all come in, so that is just my taste, it’s a uniform color and it looks like all of the other sun shades I’ve bought over the years. This one is close up to my house and so I see it more than the ones I’ve bought previously and I’m astounded at the amount of heat that you see rising from it. That means to me that it’s working. Very Good Product I was suprised at how lightweight this is with the material being as thick and sturdy as it is. I have it over my patio and it works great. I bought lag eyebolts and 10″ turnbuckles and mounted one side to the house. Fro the other side I bought 3/4″ EMT conduit, drilled a hold appx 3″ fron the top, ran threaded eyebolts through that, put cane tips over the top to keep water out, and used S hooks to hook to the sail.
