Installation was a success! The Palram 2050 door awning was received as promised. The shipping box survived and all the parts were delivered. Written installation instructions were good as they applied to a brick, concrete or adobe wall. However, for my installation (composite wood siding on plywood sheathing on 6 in wood studs) it was a bit more complicated. Assembly work around needed for our application As noted by other reviewers, packaging took a beating in transit but product was in perfect condition and all parts arrived. Great Product, bad packaging / delivery. The good:I just installed this today, and I’ve already gotten compliments on how good it looks. It’s a great product. It was not too hard to install, it took me a few hours and I needed a pretty decent A frame 8′ ladder to complete the job.
