Each Pitstop Furniture Pit Crew Bar Chair combines the comfort of a bucket seat with the utilitarian function of a bar stool. The beautiful leatherette is sewn using contrasting stitching, creating a checkerboard pattern reminiscent of a night at the races. For maximum comfort, each stool is outfitted with an aluminum billet shift knob to adjust the height and an adjustable steering wheel foot rest. The racing suspension spring on the support shaft completes the racing theme, while a 17.5 inch steel base provides stability.

Love it! Perfect for the gearhead in the family. Very cool chair! It’s perfect for my garage. Just the right height (adjustable) and easy to get in and out of. I did have to pull off and re-attach the gear-shift indicator (it’s a good quality sticker) since it was upside-down after attaching the knob to the chair. Each part of the chair is really detailed. Good quality stitching, soft fabric, fairly realistic spring and steering wheel. The chair is pneumatic, like a typical office chair, and the spring is just for show (it’s plastic)…
3 stars primarily for looks. They’re super easy to assemble, within 15 minutes I had it together. However; they’re a little awkward to sit on. The back rest is not something I can see myself using because I feel like there is way too much of a lean. The curve of the seat makes it a little difficult for a short person like me to stay back in the seat. I had to just sit straight up, so I really am not touching the back rest.
