Great base, needed to make echo/alexa portable!! I am basing my 5 star review on this being exactly what I needed it to do. Be a portable battery for me to take Alexa outside and listen to my music and ask Alexa questions. I had bought another base type but it did not secure the echo could of easily broke, by sliding off the base. This comes with a ring to go around the base of the echo and locks it in place. The ring did not sit flush in the base but it does the job of what I needed it to do, which was secure it in the base and not let it…
Seems to work as advertised – double check the USB charge port before plugging in. First, how it’s worked so far. I’ve only had this for less than a week, but it seems to be working as advertised. I plug it into the adapter that came with my Echo (2nd gen), and it charges. The Echo works fine while plugged in. If I unplug it, the Echo continues to work. I can unplug it from the cord and take it to my room at night, and it even played the “Ocean Sounds” ambient noise skill at volume level 3 all night long, with one (of the 4) charge LEDs still fully lit when I took it…
