I really like this canopy I really like this canopy, but you will need to make sure to weigh it down! You can buy weights or bags for this, or you can try the simple method, which is taking some empty grocery bags with you to the beach. Fill the grocery bags with sand and tie the handles around the poles. This method worked for us, but only after learning the hard way. Fine for me Well, I really like this canopy. It was pretty easy to put up by myself, only needed an extra hand once or twice. I live in Houston and have left this canopy up for a year without taking it down. We have had some really bad wind this year and this thing has done great. I got the weights to put on each leg, actually a double set, and haven’t had a bit of trouble. I did lower it 2 times (used the buttons on the legs) because the wind was so bad.
