ShelterLogic MaxAP Compact Canopy, White, 10 x 20 ft.
The ShelterLogic Compact MaxAP Canopy sets up in minutes and delivers the perfect seasonal shade solution for decks, patios, or smaller coverage areas. It’s ideal for protecting motorcycles, bikes, and yard equipment from the elements, and it can also be used as a cover for guests for picnic food. The 1-3/8-inch frame is constructed of all steel and it’s finished with a Dupont powder coating to prevent chipping, peeling, rust and corrosion, and it offers four-point height adjustments. Set up is quick and easy with the built-in slip together swedged tubing, and wide foot plates on every leg ensure easy access to secure anchor points. The Twist Tite tensioning squares up the frame and tightens down the cover. The fully valanced polyethylene cover is 100 percent waterproof with advanced engineered, triple-layer and rip stop construction, and it’s been UV-treated inside and out with added fade blockers, anti-aging agents so it will withstand the elements for years to come. Its 50+ UPF (Ultraviolet Protection Factor) rating blocks more than 98 percent of UV harmful rays.

ShelterLogic Canopy I finally got this assembled, with the great help of my neighbor/handyman. The pieces slip together with no tools. It’s important to rotate the connecting pieces the correct direction when installing the roof and leg pieces. It took a couple of times to do so. I agree that assembling the roof first, and then the legs worked better. The pieces are loose and easy to pull apart, so I would suggest using duct tape (though we didn’t do that). After assembling the entire unit, we “walked”…
8 posts is better than 6 – – – Hopefully. I had a 6 post version of this canopy for two years and left it up year round. Last year we had record snowfall, and the framework collapsed under the weight of several inches of heavy snow. I purchased this 8 post version, which I believe will be substantially stronger and able to withstand more weight. NOTE: Shelter Logic doesn’t warrant against collapse from snow on canopy.I intend to stand two 2×4’s up as supports for center beam to further support the structure. We…

I find the canopy drains properly if you keep the side overhangs pulled down as far as possible and release any captured water after a rainstorm the same way. The instructions are clear. The ball bunjees into gromments work very well. My only problem is that with the third canopy, only 2 instead of 4 gray rubber ground pads for the supporting poles were sent. Bummer! Not sure how to get replacements. Still I give a “5” rating because I…
