Star brite Mold & Mildew Stain Remover + Cleaner – Lifts Dirt & Removes Mildew Stains on Contact – Gallon Size
Mildew Stain Remover quickly removes unsightly mildew stains and mold stain from fiberglass, vinyl, plastic or painted surfaces. It begins working on contact. The special buffered formula will not harm vinyl upholstery or threads. It is a safer alternative to using regular bleach and contains chelating agents and surfactants to clean better than bleach alone. It can be used on the boat, around the home, on patio furniture, campers, cushions, or wherever mold, mildew, moss, and algae stains are a problem.
Just spray or wipe Starbrite Mildew Stain Remover on most canvas T-tops, boat seats, boat covers, bolsters, vinyl cushions, vinyl chairs, bimini tops, tile, grout, shower stalls, shower curtain liners, shower mats, bathrooms, awnings, siding, wood and more. Do not rinse until stains disappear. Most stains disappear in 15 seconds to 30 seconds. Stubborn stains may require a second application and light scrubbing. Rinse well after use.
For use on outdoor acrylic fabrics such as Sunbrella brand; not recommended for use on indoor fabrics or clothing; test for colorfastness in an inconspicuous area before proceeding with overall cleaning.
PRO TIP: Bleach-based stain removers do not kill mold and mildew, they only remove the stains. For long term mold and mildew stain control, follow with a Chlorine Dioxide-based (ClO2) biocide spray like PERFORMACIDE Mold & Mildew Eliminator. This EPA registered mold, mildew, slime, and fungus killer will not remove stains, so use both products in sequence for optimal results. ClO2 also removes mildew smells and musty odors. PERFORMACIDE Mold & Mildew Eliminator does not require rinsing and leaves no harmful residue.
FOR LONG TERM, PROFESSIONAL RESULTS, FOLLOW THESE STEPS:
STEP 1: Remove the stains with MILDEW STAIN REMOVER
STEP 2: Kill the organism with PERFORMACIDE MOLD & MILDEW ELIMINATOR
STEP 3: Prevent future mildew stains with Star brite Mildew Stain Blocker (optional)

This WORKS…. Bought a neglected, used boat here in Florida. Tried to salvage the vinyl upholstery from the mildew and stains but bleach, vinegar, etc., was not working. I found this product and figured it would be my last-ditch effort to salvage the upholstery. AMAZING! The secret is patience. Give it time to work. I sprayed the Star brite on the cushions and waited until the discoloration was gone. Granted that some areas required more than one application, but the stains are gone.Update:…
Mildew & stains gone Bought to use on the bunk ends of our camper. Had stains from where old mildew was cleaned with soap and water (before we bought it), and some new mildew from being closed up. Sprayed waited about 10 minutes, and it worked GREAT. Mildew and old stains almost completely gone. Some spots required a second application. Washed with soapy water, then rinsed. What a difference! See the pics – I forgot to take one before I started, but the first pic is after half had been sprayed, and the…
Excellent results — if you follow the directions to spray and wait and don’t apply elbow grease while it’s working The white and blue vinyl on our pontoon seats develops mildew because the high moisture after a rain, coupled with high temperatures under the cover is a perfect growth environment. We tried lots of cleaners over the years — used much elbow grease but had poor results. We tried this product and at first we had similar, poor results, because we sprayed it on and started scrubbing and dried it. But — after re-reading the directions — we now just spray it on and let it sit. No rubbing. And like…
