Thumbs up! UPDATE: I’ve had this hose reel for about 1 month now and used it maybe 3 times. On the last usage, the leader hose completely broke off of the main hose reel, which makes this entire hose reel useless. There was no pressure put on the leader hose to make it snap off, it just simply came off, and I’m unable to reattach it. Of course, I’m just outside my window of return with Amazon, so I can’t get my money back, but I’m going to contact Suncast to request a refund. Pretty ridiculous! DO…
A good product, but not compatible with heavy duty non-kink hoses A good product, but not compatible with heavy duty non-kink hoses that have the collar on the attachment end of the hose. The collar makes the hose stick up above the hose reel enough that when you reel the hose in the collar causes the hose to kink. You have to find a hose that has no collar for it to work well with this product. Personally, I agree with the hose collar used by the hose manufacturers. So…… Suncast, why not re-engineer this a little to accommodate the heavier duty…
