Don’t use the metal strip! The table went together easily except for two things:1. The holes for the metal support that screws into the lid support are much too small for the screws provided! It would seem that the manufacturer would have corrected this by now. I happened to have some screw that worked, so I used them to affix the metal strip.2. The strip includes a tension “fastener” that holds the lid down so tightly that I couldn’t pop the lid open without a great deal of force. I ended up…
