However, the fit is not perfect as the doors keep opening by themselves. There is no “click” lock mechanism, just a plastic groove/bump that the doors close into. Good looking, well build and a great value. We bought 2 of these to use on our deck as both storage and “buffet serving tables”. The pictures of the units are accurate. Although the units are not sealed, they do look like they will keep water out as long as the bottom does not become submerged. The top has a slight curve to it to encourage water to drain off the top, but not so much that anything you put on the tops would be in any danger of slipping off.
