The prefect stool for our bbq Ordered 2 pair for these as most other bar stools were not tall enough for our bar. With the cushions, these are just right height. Material feels like a vinyl plasticy kind of material. I suspect it will survive many summers out here in sunny Southern California. No signs of wear after 1 season. They look great, are pretty comfortable For the price, there’s no beating these chairs. They look great, are pretty comfortable, and if assembled with patience, they are very sturdy. My wife prefers to sit in the chair without the cushion, which she uses for the back.As with all pre-fab furniture goes, make sure to assemble in a flat, level surface.
