Durable and Beautiful These sails are amazing. They cooled off my cement deck by around 20-30 degrees on a hot day. Very durable. The second night we had them up, we had a wild thunderstorm with 80 mph wind gusts, 2 1/2 inches of rain and golf ball size hail. I watched as they wildly whipped 3 feet in the air and then as the hail accumulated they hung down from 7 feet to about 4 foot off the ground. Provides great shade, and lets the breeze through too! Best shade for the $. It took a little trial and error to get the two sails I bought set up, but it was well worth it. These are quite literally âsailsâ in the sense they will catch wind and rain if your angle isnât steep enough for water run-off or if you donât have them properly tied down.
