This brand new viny replacement fabric will work with A&E (Dometic), Carefree, and Carter Awnings that are manually operated without a metal cover. The fabric is made of durable 15oz vinyl with a 16oz vinyl weather shield heat welded onto the main vinyl. Colored on both sides, it will be visually appealing from all angles. Our SunWave brand awning comes ready to install with 1/4″ poly cord for the rail, and 3/16″ poly cord for the roller tube. You will want to order according to your awning size by taking a center of arm to center of arm measurement. Your fabric will come in measuring 9-10″ shorter than the center of arm to center of arm measurement. For Carter awnings, please add a note when you order this item. This product comes with 3 years limited warranty on material and shipping. We also offer 14 days return policy. Returned items must be in original condition/packaging with original invoice included. Customer to pay return shipping costs. There will be a 20% restocking fee for any returned items.

You can do it yourself! It does have a seam in the middle but as many time as this RV will be used (3 or 4 times a year) I think it will be fine. Ordered this for a friend and helped him install on RV. The dealer wanted $600 + for awning and installation. SunWave awning used on a A&E Dometic 834CU16.400 As others have stated, mine has a seam, hopefully that will not impact the life span of the awning.The fabric used on the old awning was heavier than the SunWave fabric, I don’t know if heavier equals a longer life?The old awning had 2 channel wires sewn in and the SunWave awning only has one sewn in, the second has to be carefully maneuvered into place and that wasn’t easy.
