Great for covering outside basement stairwell! I ordered these on a whim to cover my outside basement stairwell. Seems it’s not made to hold off snow loads I live in New England and we get snow – alot of it it seems. We needed a cover over our front and side entrance so the immediate area of the door would not be covered in snow.1. Installation was not pleasant. If you do not have a “flat” wall to install the items, you have to cut into your siding or add some kind of attachment so the brackets can hang on them.
