Seems it’s not made to hold off snow loads I live in New England and we get snow – alot of it it seems. We needed a cover over our front and side entrance so the immediate area of the door would not be covered in snow.1. Installation was not pleasant. If you do not have a “flat” wall to install the items, you have to cut into your siding or add some kind of attachment so the brackets can hang on them. Great for covering outside basement stairwell! I ordered these on a whim to cover my outside basement stairwell. The stairwell doesnt have a drain so when it rains alot water was getting under the door and into the basement.
