What a surprise! At first I had concerns about the water dripping off the edge but after I hung them up and we just got some rain they seem to work really well. I think some of the runoff goes into the bottom pipe which helps a lot. Yes they’re plastic but they look great and for the price you can’t beat it. I was able to hang it by myself with a couple paint poles but I’m used to doing stuff alone plus the hardware they provide ia a bit Overkill I downgraded to some smaller screws it doesn’t weigh much and…
Not for the inexperienced DIYer, great shade when done The product itself is 5 Star – though as other reviewers have noted the instructions are next to worthless and the hardware that comes with it needs to be upgraded. Better instructions and hardware, this would be 5 Star – but even with that this will not be a simple project depending on what/where you are mounting.
