Nice set, easy assembly This is definitely a “buyer beware” product.The furniture looks beautiful in the picture. It’s not so great in real life; the finish in many places was “rough”. The final product is nice but my friend, who assembles many things, felt the instructions were not clear. in particular between step 1 and step 2. He finally called customer service and they pointed out some small holes on the same side that were not mentioned in the directions. Six hours later, we got all 6 pieces together. The chairs do not fit evenly under the table but we figure for casual dining, it probably won’t matter. We came close to sending it back but persevered, and the end…
I don’t know what the issues were with the negative feedback about assembly. I ordered this and the 4pc. conversation set from the same company and had all of it assembled in about 4 hours without any help. No problems with holes not lined up or having to drill additional holes. Using the boxes it is delivered in as work tables helps.The set looks great and have already had compliments.
