This was a very easy switch (2 bolts & 2 screws) Ok, so let me first say that i bought this with low expectations based on some of the reviews. But here is the issue and i am a very mechanically inclined person. There are two steel brackets that are used to mount the awning to the house (left & right). The issue was that the factory installed the parts on the brackets on the opposite brackets. Not 12 feet long! “Install in concrete only!” As mentioned previously the directions aren’t great, but they aren’t as bad as some say. However my biggest gripe is that the awning isn’t 12′ x 10′. The Frame itself is only 11′ 8″ and the awning fabric only spans 11′ 3″! Also, the directions and hardware are for only attaching to a concrete wall. Who is attaching this to a concrete wall? I came up with a way to use 4 – 3/8″ hanger bolts and some spacers to install this on my vinyl sided house. I expect stuff from china to have…
Awesome Awning Awning works great and the price compared to other awnings is awesome. It was very very very frustrating to assemble but worth the aggravation for the price. This is a top quality awning and even though the description says it weighs very little it was inaccurate. It weighs a lot this proving how heavy duty it actually is. You can adjust the pitch very easily. It is also waterproof but I would not keep it opened during heavy winds. I always close it when not in use. I would totally…
