The set is African themed jewlery. However, if it matters to you be aware it isn’t made in Africa. This is a nice statement piece that is African themed jewelry. I rated this jewelry set as, ‘I like it’ as opposed to ‘I love it’ for two reasons. One, a couple of the feathers on the necklace were damaged when it arrived. Nothing huge, a couple of the edges near the tip were stretched out of place. Secondly, the red crystals on the piece are little too short I assumed they would be longer. So cute but could be better This is a cute necklace. I bought the blue one and then several months later I bought it in red. The feathers are a nice accent if you like them. They are sturdy and attached firmly to the metal loops. After I wore it a couple times I realized my taste didnât prefer the feathers so I pulled them and the charms off with some pliers.
